Chief Technology Officer

The Client:
Our client is a prominent player in the transportation and logistics sector in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They are seeking a seasoned Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead their technological evolution.
 
The Role:
As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be the driving force behind the digital transformation of our client’s transportation and logistics operations. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will define and execute the company’s technology roadmap, enhance operational efficiency through digital solutions, and position the organization as a technology-forward industry leader.

• Develop and lead the execution of a robust digital transformation strategy aligned with the company’s long-term business goals.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide IT systems and solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation within transportation and logistics functions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless technology integration.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing IT team, promoting a culture of continuous innovation and agile delivery.
• Ensure IT security, compliance, and infrastructure resilience across all business units.
• Establish metrics to measure technology ROI, performance, and impact on business outcomes.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the Group CEO on all technology and digital matters.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven track record of 10+ years in senior IT leadership roles, preferably within the transportation and logistics sector.
• Deep experience driving digital transformation in complex, multi-site organizations.
• Strong technical knowledge in enterprise systems, data platforms, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
• Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities with the ability to align technology with business strategy.
• In-depth understanding of supply chain, fleet management, and logistics systems.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working within the Saudi or GCC market is highly preferred.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
